Tender Treasures Photography

Suz, Suzy, Suzanna...oh how do we love thee? First thing you need to know about this babe behind the lens is that she can make Utah look good in the winter...not easy. Second thing is that she is so beautiful, super kind, extremely talented and has an amazing closet! Ladies, this closet would make Oprah cry. I want it, I want it bad, and I want her body to put into the clothing residing in her closet. Okay, okay enough about her closet...but I do want it.

Back to the issue at hand. See these little pics below? That is MY baby girl Bella...and I get a lump in my throat every time I look at these images. She captured my little blossom perfectly. She gave me so many more, but these two just make my heart skip a beat, I love this little girl she is so special and she is all mine. Perfect little slice of heaven's pie this little one is.

Suz is really amazing at styling a shot. She understands the balance of too much/too little. See that bike? That's hers, I want that too...along with her closet.

This picture was taken in this really icky empty lot next to my house and she made it beautiful! She can think outside the box, all I saw was ick and she saw possibility and made it happen.

Finally, she knows how to really bring out the cute in kids. This little moppit is Molly, my neighbor and also happens to be Suz's niece. She can also bring out the cool in seniors, she did my oldest son's senior pics and I can't share them yet, because I don't want a funeral headache. His dad and I opened the file last night and bawled like babies, once again she captured my boy beautifully. I will probably wallpaper my studio with his pictures when he leaves his momma for school. Suzanna captures weddings, maternity, seniors, families, babies, animals...you name it she can do it.

Be sure to check out Suzanna's blog for amazing inspiration and just plain fun...her calendar girl shots are too cute. You'll find she's very versatile and really strives for perfection. Thank you so much Suz! Your willingness to work with our crazy deadlines was soooo appreciated!

Zumba, zumba, zumba

I have gone to Zumba three times this week. My skinny but adorable neighbor has been bugging me for ages to check this out. Let me just say this....it is stinkin' hard!!! It's like hiphop/latin dancing on freakin' steroids folks. I look like a total moron trying to follow the rest of the girls, but hey, it's fun and the music is loud, therefore, I dig it.

However, you know that one episode of Biggest Loser when that poor woman can't jump onto the little step thing (it's like 4 or 5 inches tall). Jillian is screaming at her, the lady is bawling and try as she might, she just can't jump on the stupid thing. I remember thinking "heaven help me if I EVER get like that, I mean really, just jump chica!" Finally, Jillian gets what she wants, the lady jumps! Only once, but she jumped, and it was sooo hard for her. Well, guess what? I am eating crow. Yup, I can't jump. No really, I can't. Wow is all I can really say. I will jump though, I will jump, I think I can, I think I can. I am not sure if I can't in fact jump or if I just am afraid that I will lose my entire bladder if I do. I really think it's mental, but hey, I am kinda frumpy right now.

So, here I am, sore, tired and sore. I am sore in places I didn't know I could be sore. Guess I need to start somewhere right? Good news is that I am down five pounds since starting my green smoothies and going to zumba! Really, I just want to feel better, have more energy and know that I am giving my kids something so important, my health. Tomorrow will yet again find me at zumba, and I'll be proud of myself for going, because I am sore, really, really sore :o)
